封面故事:四川省白玉县夏囊沟矿床地表“火烧皮”照片。近年来, 义敦弧北段新发现了夏囊沟铅锌铜(银、金)矿床, 并确认其为中硫化浅成低温热液型矿床, 矿体的空间分布与火山机构关系密切。矿床铅锌资源量达大型规模, 铜、金、银达中型规模, 找矿潜力巨大。该矿床的发现与矿床类型的厘定, 突破了前人认为义敦弧北段以发育“呷村式”VMS型矿床为主的传统认识, 揭示了晚三叠世火山岩区具备找到“普朗式”斑岩-浅成低温热液成矿系统的潜力, 为区域找矿开辟了全新方向。夏囊沟矿床地表“火烧皮”铁染异常, 是斑岩矿床地表发育的典型找矿标志。详见本期235-248页。(照片提供: 冉凤琴)
Cover Story:Photograph illustrating the “burnt-skin” surface feature at the Xiananggou deposit, Baiyu County, Sichuan Province. In recent years, the newly discovered Xiananggou Pb-Zn-Cu (Ag-Au) de-posit, located in the northern segment of the Yidun arc, has been identified as an intermedi-ate-sulfidation epithermal deposit. The spatial distribution of ore bodies is strongly influenced by volcanic edifices. The deposit hosts large-scale Pb-Zn resources and medi-um-scale Cu, Au, and Ag resources, indicating substantial potential for further exploration. The discovery of this deposit, together with clarifica-tion of its deposit type, has overturned the long-held conventional view that the northern segment of the Yidun magmatic arc predomi-nantly hosts “Xiachu-type” VMS deposits. In-stead, the findings demonstrate that Late Triassic volcanic terrains in this region possess signifi-cant potential to host “Pulang-type” porphyry-epithermal mineralization systems, thereby, opening an entirely new direction for regional mineral exploration across the northern Yidun magmatic arc. The “burnt-skin” iron-oxide staining anomaly developed at the Xiananggou deposit represents a classic surface exploration indicator of porphyry mineralization.
