Sequence Stratigraphy and Sedimentary Microfacies Analysis of Well Qs1 in Shenglihe Area, North Qiangtang Depression |
In the Early and Middle Jurassic, several sets of high-quality Marine source rocks developed in the North Qiangtang Depression. It is a particularly critical period of sedimentary evolution. In this paper, sequence stratigraphy and sys-tem tracts of well Qs1 in Shenglihe area of North Qiangtang Depression are divided. Sedimentary facies are recognized in each sequence, and sedimentary subfacies and microfacies are further studied using core and rock slices. In well Qs1, the Lower and Middle Jurassic Quemocuo Formation (J1-2q) was divided into one third-order sequence, named SQq (without bottoming), and the Middle Jurassic Buqu Formation (J2b) was divided into two third-order sequences, named SQb1 and SQb2 (without peaking). The sequence interface between SQq and SQb1 is named SBb1, and the sequence interface between SQb1 and SQb2 is named SBb2. The transgressive system tract (TSTq) and the high system tract (HSTq) were identified in SQq, bounded by the maximum flooding surface (mfsq). The transgressive system tract (TSTb1) and the high system tract (HSTb1) were identified in SQb1, bounded by the maximum flooding surface (mfsb1). The transgressive system tract (TSTb2) was identified in SQb2, and the high system tract was all denuded. Three sedimentary facies were identified in the middle and lower Jurassic of well Qs1: the mixed tidal flat facies, the barrier-free shoreline facies, and the carbonate platform facies. These sedimentary facies are further subdivided into 6 subfacies and 32 microfacies. |
