| Metallogenic Regularity, Centennial Exploration Results of Uranium Deposits in China, and Suggestions for a New Round of Prospecting: Research and Compilation of “Geology of Mineral Resources of China • Uranium Deposits Volume” |
| Uranium is an important strategic mineral resource for both military and civilian use. With the rapid development of the nuclear power industry in China, stricter regulations have been put forward for the protection of uranium resources. Based on the research and compilation of “Geology of Mineral Resources in China? Uranium Deposits Volume”, the author summarizes the achievements of uranium exploration in China over the past 100 years, and introduces the types and characteristics of uranium deposits in China as well as the typical uranium metallogenic theory in China. To further implement the new round of strategic action of prospecting breakthrough and ensure the realization of the goal of uranium deposits, the uranium metallogenic series in China have been divided, the regional advantages of uranium resources in China are analyzed, and the uranium metallogenic regularity in China is summarized. In the present study, in view of the “four types” of uranium deposits in China, the endowments of uranium deposits in China are summarized, and the prospecting direction and exploration deployment suggestions are put forward, so as to provide a useful reference for the strategic action of prospecting breakthroughs. |
