Cognitions of Magmatic Rock Distribution in Southern and Surrounding Area of Dayangshu Basin Based on Airborne Gravity and Magnetic Data
      Based on a comprehensive study of regional geology and geophysics, this study considers the gravity and magnetic anomaly responses of different types of magmatic rocks in the southern and surrounding areas of the Dayangshu Basin. The study uses the latest measured airborne gravity and magnetic integrated survey data, combines the results of field surveys and physical property measurements, and uses the techniques of field source separation and anomaly extraction such as polarizing, upward continuation, and vertical derivative. Thereby, the spatial distribution ranges are delineated, and the development characteristics, regularities of distribution, and controlling factors of regional magmatic rocks are revealed. The research shows that different types of magmatic rocks in the study region have different characteristics of aeromagnetic anomalies. The geophysical method used to highlight local gravity and magnetic anomalies can effectively identify acidic, intermediate-acidic, intermediate-basic, and other magmatic rocks. More than one hundred magmatic rocks of geological significance are delineated. Most of the magmatic rocks are distributed along the NE and NW trending faults and their two sides, especially at the intersection of the faults. This shows that faults have obvious controlling effects on magmatic activity. The airborne gravity and magnetism reveal that large-scale, concealed intermediate-basic volcanic rocks have developed in the study region. This study provides an important geological-geophysical basis for regional basic geological research and reservoir resource evaluation in volcanic rock basins.
