Geological Characteristics and Genesis of Huobashan Fluorite Deposit in Yupeng–Nankou Area, Fujian Province
      This paper has comprehensively summarized the geological characteristics of Huobashan fluorite deposit in Yupeng–Nankou area, Fujian Province. It also discusses the genesis, metallogenic materials, and fluid sources of the deposit on the basis of the trace elements and rare earth elements found in fluorite. The results of the trace elements and rare earth elements found in fluorite ore reveal that fluorite has medium Eu negative anomaly and weak Ce anomaly. The REE distribution pattern has two curve types: a light rare earth enrichment type and gentle type with a weak deficit of light rare earth. According to the characteristics of the fluorite ore, the trace elements, the rare earth elements and the Y/Ho-La/Ho diagram, it can be concluded that there are at least three stages of mineralization in the fluorite. Based on the M?ller’s Tb/La-Tb/Ca genetic discrimination diagram, combined with the rare earth element characteristics of the fluorite and the surrounding rock of the Changkou fluorite deposit, it can be proposed that the Huobashan fluorite ore-forming fluid is controlled by the same ore-forming fluid field as the large Changkou fluorite deposit. It was also shown that it was enriched in a favorable position. On the other hand though, the ore-forming hydrothermal fluid flowed through the Xiafengyan Formation, leaching, extracting and causing metasomatism to take place. This formed another ore-forming fluorite with different geochemical characteristics. Comprehensive analysis shows that the Huobashan fluorite deposit in this study area is a fault zone filling deposit of middle-low temperature meteoric water from a hydrothermal origin.
