The Prediction of Uranium Deposits Based on Gravity and Magnetic Data: Exemplified by Western Songliao Basin
      The western area in Songliao basin has a certain potential of uranium resources. In order to fully excavate the effect of gravity and magnetic data in uranium ore prediction and explore the frontier innovation direction of interdisciplinary subjects of gravity and magnetism and uranium exploration, the authors systematically analyzed the typical characteristics of faults, anticlines and magmatic rocks which belong to the geological elements based on the study of aeromagnetic and gravity data. The authors summarized the prospecting criteria mainly based on gravity and magnetic characteristics, then predicted the prospect of uranium mineralization combined with uranium mineralization data. Five uranium metallogenic prospect areas were delineated in the study area. It is pointed out that the western margin of Daqing placanticline, Songyuan, Horqin Left Wing Middle Banner, Baicheng–Zhenlai and Qiqihar have good uranium metallogenic prospects, and hence attention should paid to these areas in the future exploration deployment.
