Discovery and Paleoecological and Paleoenvironmental Environment of the Conchostracans from the Cretaceous Xiagou Formation in Zhangye National Geopark
      The Cretaceous monotype basin in Hongshanwan area of Zhangye National Geopark is an important part of Zhangye–Mingle basin. In this paper, the Early Cretaceous Xiagou conchostracans fossils were reported for the first time, which included 1 species and 3 undetermined species: Eosestheria ovate, E.sp. Combined with the fossils of Cladophlebis, Podozamites and previous isotopic dating results, it is believed that the deposits in Hongshanwan area of the geopark belong to Aptian Stage and should be in the middle and late Aptian period. Through the measurement of individual 8 characteristic parameters of the leaf segments, by using the PAST software for general statistical analysis and multivariate statistical analysis, according to the ecological system, and in combination with micro-plant fossils found in the field, the authors divided the early Cretaceous red valley basin into aquatic system and land ecosystem, thus making restoration and reconstruction of the paleoenvironment and paleoecology of the sedimentary basin.
