3D Quantitative Mineral Prediction in the Depth of the Dayingezhuang Gold Deposit, Shandong Province
      The Dayingezhuang gold deposit is a large-sized gold deposit in the middle of the Zhaoping fault zone of northwestern Jiaodong. However, with the continuous exploitation of its retained resources, it is urgent to carry out the prospecting work in the deep and lateral parts of the deposit. Taking the Dayingezhuang gold deposit as the research object, the authors used the three-dimensional geological modeling technology to construct the three-dimensional model of the relevant geological body based on the regional metallogenic theory and prospecting exploration model. On such a basis, the quantitative method was adopted to extract the ore-controlling indicators and mineralization indicators. The three-dimensional quantitative metallogenic prediction model was established. Three prospecting targets were delineated by the model. The results show that the method can be applied to the deep and lateral prospecting work of large and medium-sized deposits, and its three-dimensional and quantitative prediction results can provide important reference for subsequent exploration and mining work.
