| The Cost-effectiveness Analysis of the Information Management in Geological Museums: A Case Study of the Geological Museum of China |
| This paper expounds the concept and development trend of the information management system in geological museums. On the basis of the input-output theory in economics and in the aspects of office automation, collection information management system, the diversity of displays and exhibits, and customization and sharing of popular science resources, the authors probed into the problem as to how the public geological museums can use the information management to reduce the human costs, improve the audience’s acceptance and satisfaction, overcome the disadvantage of the relative specialization of geological knowledge and create greater social benefits. |
