| Consideration of Some Problems concerning the Earth Sciences Cooperation in “One Belt and One Road” Construction |
| Geologists have been paying high attention to “One Belt and One Road” construction since the government of China gave the initiative. This paper presents the geological conditions, resource endowments characteristics of “One Belt and One Road” area and the preliminary basis of earth sciences cooperation with countries along “One Belt and One Road”. Some cooperation ideas, such as innovating geoscientific field cooperation mechanism, developing cooperative geological mapping, cooperating and developing the status investigation of energy and important mineral resources and potentiality assessment of mineral resources, co-establishing geological mineral resources information system and innovating geosciences talents cultivation mechanism, are put forward in this paper from the point of view of earth sciences cooperation ways, in the hope of promoting the development of earth science innovation, creating a win-win situation in exploiting and utilizing energy and important mineral resources of “One Belt and One Road” area and enjoying the achievements of human civilization. |
