Geological Analysis of Lunar Middle and Low Latitude Brightness Temperature Anomaly Area Based on Chang’E-2 MRM Data
      China’s Chang’E-2 is for the first time equipped with a passive microwave radiometer (MRM) to measure the brightness temperature of different lunar surfaces. To make geological analysis of the anomaly of brightness temperature, the authors calculated the hour angle of the brightness temperature data and obtained the brightness temperature of middle and low latitudes at different frequencies and in different periods by Kriging interpolation method. The anomaly of brightness temperature on lunar surface was obtained based on the SVD model. The result shows that Oceanus Procellarum and the highland region of northeast lunar mare with concentrated volcanic rocks constitute the brightness temperature anomaly area. The large lunar mare area is an overall correlation region of 3 GHz and 37 GHz.
