| A Tentative Discussion on the Ore-prospecting Orientation at the Depth of the Eastern Ore District of the Gejiu Tin Polymetallic Ore Deposit, Yunnan Province |
| Based on the data available concerning the ore-controlling factors, the metallogenic-ore-controlling model, and the element zoning regularity of the Gejiu ore district, in combination with the present situation of ore exploration in the ore district, the authors point out three major directions for further ore-prospecting work at the depth of the Gejiu ore district, i.e., the depression structure of the granite, the depression or ‘carinate’ relief structure of the granite at the depth, and the second-order relief of the granite. The major target areas, important target areas and common target areas for ore-prospecting work in five major ore fields of eastern Gejiu ore district as well as in the southern area are also delineated. |
