A Study of the Karst Valley Landscape and the Evolution Model of Shangnan Jinsixia Geopark in Shaanxi Province
      Main landscpes of Shangnan Jinsixia National Geopark established in August 2009 are karst valley, multilayer karst caves and waterfalls of 13 levels. The valley is the key geo-landscape. The geopark consists of Bailongxia scenic spot, Heilongxia scenic spot, Qinglongxia scenic spot, Shiyanzhai scenic spot, 13 level waterfalls scenic spot and Danjiang River source scenic spot. The rock types of the geopark are mainly limestone and dolomite, and the geopark is located in the Southern Qinling tectonic belt. The geopark karst valley landscape is distributed in the regular system of gully-glen-narrow-slit. The origin of the karst valley is controlled by factors of rocks, fractures, landslip, neotectonism and runoff. The special evolution model of the Jinsixia Valley is called “Jinsixia Model”.
