A Study of Geochemical Anomaly Structure of the Huitongshan Copper Deposit in Beishan Area, Gansu Province
      This paper has tentatively discussed characteristics of element enrichment and depletion and geochemical anomaly structure comprising positive anomalies of enriched elements and negative anomalies of depleted elements in skarn copper deposits of Beishan area, exemplified by the Huitongshan copper deposit. The results demonstrate that obvious zonal structures are formed by enriched elements, which include metallogenic element (Cu), mineralizing accompanying elements (As, Ag, Mo) and major element (MgO) in the study area. In the middle of the zonal structure there exist positive anomalies, which grade outward into negative anomalies through the background belt. Positive anomalies coincide well with negative anomalies formed by Pr and Yb, constituting regular geochemical anomaly structure and indicate favorable metallogenic geological environment or mineralization extension. At the position of the ore body, Zn positive anomalies and negative anomalies formed by Al2O3, Na2O and Sr exist obviously, making up an entirety with the geochemical anomaly structure and effectively reflecting the whole metallogenic system of the Huitongshan copper deposit. This study is a new attempt for the prospecting target optimization of geochemical exploration methods in Beishan area, and the result obtained may have practical value for geological prospecting of this area.
