| Geoheritage Evaluation and Integration Development of the Qitai Silicified Wood–Dinosaur National Geopark in Xinjiang |
| Important geoheritages are not only valuable national treasures but also necessary components of the ecological environment. The Qitai Silicified Wood–Dinosaur National Geopark is located in Qitai County of Xinjiang, where geoheritages have a large variety of styles and intact landform types. Therefore, the geopark possesses extremely high value for scientific researches on environmental changes in Junggar Basin. This paper has described types and distribution of geoheritages in the Qitai Silicified Wood–Dinosaur National Geopark, made a comprehensive evaluation of its geoheritages, and pointed out ways of integrating the management model with tourism resources, creating tourism products, constructing tourist image and promoting market sales so as to realize the integration of the tourism development in the Qitai Silicified Wood–Dinosaur National Geopark. |
