摘要:
Allometric Scaling of Pterosaur Forelimb Elements
Pterosaurs exhibit a large size range with the smallest approximately the size of a sparrow and the largest about the size of a small airplane. Based on studies of extant flying vertebrates and principles of allometry (Norberg & Rayner, 1987; Rayner, 1988), a reasonable assumption is that pterosaurs of different sizes used their wings differently during flight.
