Characteristics and Genetic Mechanism of Jianglang Mountain Geological Heritage Resources in Jiangshan City, Zhejiang Province
      The Jianglang Mountain, commonly called “Three-Sliced Stone”, is famous not only for the reputation of “ranking first in the world with its grandness and unusualness, the most beautiful scene in southeast China”, but also for the titles of “the first wonderful Danxia landform in China” and “the most wonderful national one-line-sky’”. This paper described characteristics of Jianglang Mountain geological heritage resources in detail, and studied Danxia landform of Jianglang Mountain and its genetic mechanism in the aspects of strata, lithology, structure, and external motive power. The results indicate that the geological heritage resources of Jianglang Mountain have unique genetic mechanism resulting from the combined actions of geological-structural evolution, magmatic effect and external motive power. The research made by the authors is valuable for exploitation and protection of tourism resources and for the study of geological evolution of this area.
