The Key to the Study of Deep Mineralization and the Evalution of Ore-prospecting Potential in the Zijinshan Gold and Copper Deposit
      The Zijinshan gold and copper deposit is a typical high-sulfidation epithermal deposit with thick lithocap, vuggy quartz and advanced argillic alteration zone. Giant copper ore bodies over 1,000 m in thickness lie beneath gold ore bodies and belong to the high-sulfidation epithermal copper type, with the mineral association of digenite, covellite, enargite and alunite. Mineralogical studies of copper sulfides indicate that porphyry type copper ore bodies are probably existent in the depth of the Zijinshan gold and copper deposit.
