Isotope Geochemistry of the Gaolong Micro-disseminated Gold Deposit in Guangxi |
S,Pb,H and O isotopic determinations of the ore and gangue minerals in the Gaolong micro-disseminated gold deposit of Guangxi shows that the δ34S value of sedimentary pyrite is-15.3 ‰~+13.6 ‰,the δ34S value of pyrite in the ore-bearing bed is +0.4 ‰~+15.6 ‰,the δ34S value of pyrite in siliceous rocks is +1.7 ‰~+9.7 ‰,and the δ34S value of stibnite in siliceous rocks is-15.3‰~+0.1‰.The sulfur isotope composition of the pyrite tends to decrease from the ore-bearing bed through the siliceous rocks and to the stibnite in siliceous rocks. The 206Pb/204Pb ratio in pyrite is 18.270~18.470, the 207Pb/204Pb ratio is 15.620~15.710, and the 208Pb/204Pb ratio is 38.310~37.740. The oxygen isotope of quartz in the ore deposit is +11.3‰~+23.9‰, the oxygen isotope of water is -4.2‰~+14.4‰, the hydrogen isotope in mineral inclusions is -53.4‰~-77.1‰, the oxygen isotope of calcite in the ore deposit is +10.5‰~+18.6‰, the oxygen isotope of water is -3,2‰~+10.7‰, and the hydrogen isotope in mineral inclusions is -54.5‰~-30.5‰. These data indicate that hydrothermal fluids might have deen derived from magmatic hydrothermal solution and atmospheric precipitation as well as ocean waters. |
