| Seismic Reflective Characteristics of the Volcanic Apparatus of the Deep Gas Field in Southern Xingcheng Area |
| Volcanic rocks of the Yingcheng Formation in Xingcheng area are mainly deep gas reservoirs. The accumulation of deep gas is controlled by the volcanic apparatus, which consists of 3 elements: volcanic plateau, pericline and crater, all having clear seismic reflective characteristics. Based on the study of seismic sections and seiscrop sections, the authors summarized 14 kinds of seismic reflective characteristics, which represent the external appearance and internal structure of the volcanic apparatus as well as the contact relationship between the volcanic rocks and their overlying sedimentary formations. 15 volcanic apparatuses were recognized through the study of these 14 seismic reflective characteristics, which is of great significance in guiding the exploration and development of gas fields. |
