Correlation between Structure Evolution and Petroleum System of the Jiangling Depression
      Through an investigation into the relationship of structure evolution to hydrocarbon generation,migration and accumulation as well as conduction system of Jiangling depression based on well drilling,logging and seismic data as well as test results,the authors studied the relationship between structure evolution and petroleum system of Jiangling depression and pointed out that there exists a whole petroleum system which was formed from Middle Jingsha Formation to Late Jinghezheng Formation(Middle Eocene to Late Pleistocene)and then entered into the preservation stage.This paper has summarized the formation characteristics of the reservoirs and revealed the regularity of contemporaneously formed reservoirs in different strata.It is thus held that the Jiangling depression has multiple exploration layers and can be explored with the aid of three-dimensional exploration strategy so as to improve exploration efficiency.The exploration for both original and secondary reservoirs should be speeded up to achieve more commercial discoveries.
