Geochemical Characteristics of the Dongguashan Copper Deposit in Anhui Province |
The Dongguashan copper deposit is characterized by a vertical variation and a “two-member texture”, evidently corresponding to its two-layer texture. CaO, MgO, Fe-2O-3, FeO, Cu, Au, Zn, Ag and As contents and average δ 18O and δ 13C values increase progressively from the lower disseminated-veinlet mineralized rocks (ores) to the upper stratiform ore beds, with SiO-2, Al-2O-3, TiO-2, K-2O, Na-2O, Pb, Hg, Sb, Mo and REE contents, the measured temperatures (from 379.3 ℃to 135.0 ℃) of fluid inclusions andδ 34S values decreasing gradually. The δ 34S values of anhydrite vary from +14.8‰ to +20.5‰, whereas those of pyrite are in the range of +2.7‰~ +7.7‰. The δ 18O value of the ore-bearing silicalite is +12.0‰, while the average δ 18O value of the siderite in copper-bearing sulfide ore is +13.97‰. Geological-geochemical characteristics show the Dongguashan copper deposit to be of submarine sedimentary exhalative origin. |
