摘要:
Permian Mafic-Ultramafic Complexes on the Southern Margin of the Tu-Ha Basin, East Tianshan Mountains: Geological Records of Vertical Crustal Growth in Central Asia
The Haibaotan ring complexes, which lie to the west of the Tuwu copper deposit and on the southern margin of the Tu-Ha basin, intruded into Devonian volcano-sedimentary sequences and consist of dunite, plagio-peridotite, troctolite, anorthosite, pyroxene peridotite, olivine gabbro, gabbro and diorite. Zircon SHRIMP U-Pb dating of altered gabbro and anorthosite yield U-Pb apparent ages of (269.2±3.2) Ma and 282~287 Ma. The Qiatekaertag complexes intruded into Carboniferous deformed strata within the Kangguertag collision belt, and consist of serpentinite, olivine anorthosite, gabbro and diorite. Zircon SHRIMP U-Pb dating of altered gabbro yields (277.0±1.6) Ma. Basic dykes intruded into Dananhu active continental margin granite, and have zircon SHRIMP U-Pb apparent ages of 271~280 Ma. Similar basic dykes are seen in early Carboniferous granodiorite of Kezierkalasayi and granodiorite north of the Tuwu copper deposit. Petrological and geochemical characteristics of Haibaotan and Qiatakaertage complexes and basic dykes that intruded into three granitoid batholiths indicate that they are parts of the depleted mantle-derived magmatic complex belt on the southern margin of the Tu-Ha basin. Combined with available regional geological data, the authors come to the new conclusion that the Permian magmatic rocks in such regions as the southern margin of Tu-Ha basin, Tianshan-Junggar-south Mongolia, Zhaisang collision belt and its two sides, Circum-Mongolia-Ohotsk orogenic belt, and the area from the northern margin of the Sino-Korea continent to south Beishan are all records of continental vertical growth, and that they are different from each other in their tectonic settings and origin mechanics.
