| ESR Dating of Modern Sediment Samples with Quartz E'Center |
| It is difficult to conduct dting for Quaternary sediments older than 200 000years. ESR can probably meet the require-ment. This paper gives the paleo-doses obtained by using E' center for modem sediments collected from different areas. All of the re-sults are smaller than 4 000Gy, which is inconeistent with the evaluation of light decay in laboratory. This might be attributed to some other unknown reasons which require further investigation. |
