The Distribution of Radionuclides in Sediment Cores from Offshore Area of Xinghua Bay
      Radionuclides in two coastal sediment cores collected from the off shore area of Xinghua Bay were measured by HPGe-γ spectroscopy. The detectabale nuclides are 40K、137Cs、210Pb、226Ra、228Ra、228Th and 238U. The distribution of these nuclides was discussed and the sedimentation rates were estimated by the excess 210Pb method. The sedimentation rates of two cores are not consistent with each other, which suggests that the marine hydrodynarmic environment causes difference in material constituents in cores. A comparison of the distribution features of radionuclides in cores and an investigation of sedimentary environments show that the distribution of radinuclides in cores is related to the marine environment change in the past.
