Carbon and Oxygen Isotopic Records from the Deep-Water Facies Sections of the Precambrian-Cambrian Transitional Period
      Carbon and oxygen isotopic records from three deep-water facies sections(Sancha, Ganziping and Zijin) of the Precambrian-Cambrian transitional period in South China were studiedin this paper. It is shown that there exist clear negative δ13C anomalies at the bottom of Early Cambrian strata in the three deep-water facies sections, whose characteristics are similar to those of shallow-water facies sections all over the world. The negative δ13C shift at the bottom of Early Cambrian might have been caused by decrease of bio-productivity.
