A Discussion on Isotopic Systematics of Global Flood Basalts
      The global flood hasalts are clearly distinguished from MORB, IAB, OID and intro-plate basalts in isotopic systematics. The magmatic sources of flood basalts are associated with asthenosphere of the upper mantle, subducted crustal materials, lithosphere, lower mantle and the transitional zone between the upper mantle and the lower mantle: The isotopic signatures related to the primitive or slightly-depleted lower mantle and EM1-HIMU components from the transitional global flood basalts,important evidence for identifying mantle plumes. The isotopic systematics from the Emeishan flood basalts indicate that there exists magmatism of mantle plume.
