| Precise Dating of Single Zircon Grain Using an IsoProbe-T Mass Spectrometer |
| The technical development of solid source thermal ionization mass spectrometer has accelerated the application of isotopic geochemistry in many branches of earth sciences in recent years.In this paper, the authors report technical advance in the single zircon U-Pb dilution and 207Pb/206Pb evaporation method using an IsoProbe-T mass spectrometer manufactured by the GV Company. A comparison of analytical results obtained by the Finnigan MAT262 with those obtained by the IsoProbe-T is also presented. |
