A Discussion on the Pre-Tertiary Structural System of Qikou Coastal Zone in Dagang Oilfield
      The NNE-striking Qikou coastal zone is located along the northern extension of Liaolan fault separating Taihang Mountain from Luxi basement. It serves not only as a geographic boundary but also as pre-tertiary en-echelon drapes and a Cenozoic tectonic conversion zone controlled by the basement fault zone. This paper discusses in detail the pre-Tertiary tectonic system and its evolutio-nary process based on regional background analysis. The main feature is a sinistral en-echelon structure made up of a serial of NE arrayed left-side-driving drapes and upheavals in plane, which display positive flower fault array in profile. The system was formed by the early Yanshanian deep fault compressive-wrench on the basis of Indo-Sinian NEE large-scale upheavals, and was reconstructed by the Himalayan stretch rift-depression action.
