| The Geo-anomaly Control of Gold Mineralization in Jiaodong Gold Ore Concentration Area, Shandong Province |
| The Jiaodong gold ore concentration area is one of the largest gold ore concentration areas in China. With this area as a study object, the authors investigated in detail geo-anomalies in this area. The geo-anomalies in Jiaodong gold ore concentration area can be assigned to three levels, namely macroscopic geo-anomalies, medium geo-anomalies, and microcosmic geo-anomalies. Characteristics of geo-anomalies at different levels were also studied. The controlling role of the geo-anomaly in the formation of gold deposits was studied by means of Geographical Information System (GIS). The ore-forming, ore-controlling, and ore-indicating roles of geo-anomalies in Jiaodong gold ore concentration area were also investigated. The criteria of geo-anomalies in Jiaodong gold ore concentration area are summarized, which include the criteria of tectonic anomalies, the criteria of lithologic combination anomalies, the criteria of geochemical anomalies and the criteria of geophysical anomalies. The summarization of the criteria of geo-anomalies is the sublimation in the understanding of ore-forming regularity in Jiaodong gold ore concentration area and can play an important role in ore prognosis. |
