| Geology of the Daheba Native Pt Deposit in Shimian County, Sichuan Province |
| The Daheba Pt deposit in Shimian county, SichuanProvince, is located in the NS-trending Kangdian basement uplift zone. The orebodies in bedded andnetwork forms occur in Pre-Jinningian layered pyroxenite-gabbro remicts in Kangdian complex. PEM exists as native Pt in altered pyroxene and feldspar intergrains. Associated minerals are mainly magnetite and ilmenite, subordinately pyrite and rarely chalcopyrite. It is inferred that the deposit may be a unique native Pt oneassociated with layered basic-ultrabasic rocks and transformed by late structural-hydrothermal processes. |
