| Comparison of Regional Geological Background between the East Part and the West Part of Weibei Area, Shaanxi Province,and the Influence of Their Difference upon Karst Groundwater Characteristics |
| In Weibei area, Shaanxi Province,Paleozoic carbonic rocks are extensively distributed, which serve as an important aquifer in this area. As the geological background in the east is quite different from that in the west, many aspects of karst groundwater cha racteristics in these two parts, such as distribution,pemeability,scale of groundwater flow system and groundwater regime, show sharp contrast. Based on a comparison of the lithologic association of Ordovician carbonic rock,geological structural evolution and geoche mistry between the east part and the west part of Weibei area, this paper reveals the intrinsic reason responsible for the diffe rence in karst groundwater characteristics between the east part and the west part of Weibei area. |
