Sea-level Change of the Central Yangtze Sea Basin in the Late Ordovician Wufengian Period
      Based on analyzing rare earth elements and stable isotopes (δ 13C), and discussing the change of abundance and degree of differentiation as well as the ecological niche, the author holds that the sea-level of the Yangtze Gorges area in central Yangtze basin underwent the change from rising to falling in Late Ordovician Wufengian period,in which five sea-level fluctuations can be recognized.
