| Depositional Systems of the Jurassic Buried Hills in Eastern Hebei Province |
| The Jurassic buried hills in eastern Hebei Province are developed mainly in the Baigezhuang saliency and the southern Xinanzhuang saliency. The depositional systems of this area include wet alluvial fan and lake shore, with the sedimentary source derived from the eastern Baigezhuang saliency. The Jurassic has three sand sets and the braided channel is the most important subfacies. The braid channels of mid alluvial fan are developed very well in Sand Set Ⅰ, but the porosity and permeability of their sand bodies are not good. Sand Set Ⅲ develops braided channels of front alluvial fan, the porosity and permeability of their sand bodies are very good, but the sand bodies have very limited thickness. In Sand Set Ⅱ, braided channels of both mid alluvial fan and front alluvial fan are ideal; moreover, the porosity and permeability of the sand bodies are quite high. Therefore, the sand bodies in Sand Set II are most favo rable among the three sand sets. |
