| The Comprehensive Type Classification and Proper Adjustment of Karst Water Resource in the Central-South Region of Shandong Province |
| The central south karst region of Shandong Province is one of the typical areas in the Northern China temperate semi arid karst area. The Karst water resource in this region is characterized by evident unevenness, large area dispersed recharge, and local enrichment. The karst is mainly in the form of caverns, and the groundwater is mostly of fissure cavern type. The discharge chiefly assumes the forms of spring, surface flow and underground flow. Based on the study of such characteristics of karst water as its recharge, concentration, run off and discharge, this paper has classified the water resource primarily into two comprehensive types, i.e., the karst groundwater source type of run off zone and the karst groundwater source type of discharge zone. Meanwhile some proper measures for the adjustment between surface water and ground water are analyzed and the policies for the proper adjustment are put forward. |
