| Some Frontier Problems on Land Subsidence Research |
| Land subsidence, which is related to such aspects as resources, environment, economy and society and impairs urban and regional sustainable development, has become the main urban geological hazard all over the world in the 21st Century. Based on a brief description of the general land subsidence situation both in China and abroad, this paper has summed up some issues concerning land subsidence research and the major frontier problems in land subsidence investigation that deserve much attention in future. |
