Three Dimensional Tectonic Stress Field and Migration of Oil and Gas in Tanhai
      This paper deals briefly with the theory of deformation of porous rock, fundamental formula for fluid flow in a porous rock and the finite element method. The three dimensional numerical simulation of geo-stress field in Tanhai is carried out according to the geo-stress measuring. The three-dimensional geo-stress field is given. It is pointed out that on the whole the high geo-stress is consistent with the high migration potential, and the low potential area is favorable for the formation of the oil field. The result provides some useful information for exploration and development of oil and gas fields.
