| The Relationship of the Formation and Evolution of Mesozoic Chuxiong Basin to Ailaoshan Orogenic Belt in Central Yunnan——Examplified by Regional Geological Integrated Section from Xishelu of Chuxiong to Bichengzhen of Lufeng |
| It is shown that the formation and evolution of Chuxiong basin are related to Ailaoshan orogenic belt in late Triassic. It is a backland basin of Ailaoshan orogenic belt instead of a foreland basin as some geologists have considered. Although it developed at the same time as the foreland basins that lie in the west of Ailaoshan orogenic belt, their rock assembleges and sedimentary facies are quite different. |
