| Researches on Agricultural Eco-geology in Regional Geological Survey |
| Large scale regional geological survey is carried out in the interests of the public, and should serve the society. Nevertheless, the traditional regional geological survey aims only at the geological research and the discovery of mineral deposits, and hence can no longer meet the need of today's economic development. Based on the agricultural eco geological investigation in the 1∶50 000 geological survey in Linzi and Qingzhou areas of Shandong Province as well as Longhua and Liuchang areas of Hebei Province, the authors have reached the conclusion that the agro eco geological investigation is mainly connected to agricultural eco geology in the aspects of basic geological survey, soil geochemical investigation and hydrogeological investigation. The basic geological and geomorphological conditions control the layout of the regional agriculture and the geochemical condition of the soil, and have direct connection with the growth environment and the trophic element content of the corn. In addition, hydrogeological characteristics seem to be the key factors responsible for the sustainable development of agriculture. |
