| Database with Optical Disk and Data Format |
| The CD Database is a subproject supported by the project "The Share and Contrast Research of Deep Geophysical data". The database began in 1998 and finished in 2000. On the basis of technical regulation of every professional sub database, the data condition was firstly comprehended, and then all of the data were edited, ranked and stored into CD series. Another task of this project was to design a software program that has the function of changing, indexing, recording, and sharing the data. The database management software was designed under the MS ACCESS program. At the end of the project execution, the data format was investigated and different data formats were compared. This database recorded a large number of data CDs by using advanced computer techniques, and stored a lot of data that are very useful for deep geophysical research. |
