| Impacts of Human Activities on the Evolution of Groundwater Quality in Hebei Plain |
| Human activities have changed the natural evolution of groundwater in Hebei Plain. Groundwater hardness can serve as the integrated index of the quality evolution of groundwater under the impact of human activities. The impacts of human activities on groundwater were studied by analysing the mechanism responsible for the increase of the groundwater hardness. The research also indicates that ammonium is one of the indices for the significant contamination of groundwater. |
