The Paleoclimatic Changes of Guilin Area since 40 000 a B.P.and Its Dynamical Mechanism
      Based on the dating and the detailed studies of the oxygen and carbon isotopes of No.1 stalagmite from Xiangshuiyan cave at Guangyang, Guilin, the authirs obtained the paleoclimate record since 40,000 a B.P.till now. The record has revealed an abrupt change from the last glacial period to the Holocene epoch, and the Heinrich Event (H1, H2, H3). On the basis of the correlation of the record with the oxygen isotope record of GISP2, the surface temperature record of the Antarctica, the normalized oxygen isotope record of the submarine living beings, and the oxygen isotope record of Sulu sea, the authors hold that the paleo-monsoon circulation changes might be caused by the changes of global ice amount.
