Isotope Geochemical Studies of Oceanic Polymetallic Nodules
      Oxygen, carbon, hydrogen and silicon isotopic integrated studies were performed for different types of oceanic polymentallic nodules collected from different morphologic areas in area “cc” of east Pacific basin during No. Dy85 1 navigation. According to the result of the studies, oxygen isotope change can reveal the formation environment, growth rate, material source and oreforming mechanism of nodules, silicon isotope composition helps to infer the sources of core materials of nodules, carbon isotope characteristics indicate that the ore-forming process took place under the general tendency that paleooceanic water became increasingly cooler, and regular variation of δ 13 C、δ 18 O and δD values reflect the periodicity and the gradual change nature of the cooling process of oceanic water.
