| A Study of Ore-forming and Ore-controlling Structures in the Yuerya Gold Deposit in East Hebei |
| The Yuerya gold deposit is a typical deposit in the hanging wall of the main detachment belt around East Hebei mantle branch. The gold deposit is controlled by antithetic listric faults and subsidiary detachment belts. Yanshanian granite bodies controlled by complex structures are characterized by tower-like distribution. Owing to successive activities of the subsidiary detachment belts,postdiagenetic granitic sill formed a series of low-angle fractures, which became the main structural expanding and ore-hosting belt in the major mineralization period. Geological evolutionary process and regional ore-forming structural characteristics are discuissed in this paper. On the basis of detailed studies, the ore-forming mechanism and the metallogenic mechanism are summarized. It is considered that fine ore-hunting prospects remain existent at depth. |
