The Mantle Plume Evolution and Its Geothermal Effect--Deep Tectonic Setting of Geothermal Anomaly in North China |
Based on an analysis of characteristics and distribution regularities of geothermal anomalies as well as controlling factors of geothermal resources in north China basin,the authors hold that the uplifting of giant submantle plume is the main dynamic (thermal energy) source responsible for the crustal splitting, the formation and development of faulted depressions,and the evolution of geothermal field in north China. It is considered that the second-order uplifts and depressions in north China fault basin that led to geothermal gradient zoning are forms of tectonic control of geothermal resources. |
