| An Analysis of Present Situation and Prospects of Geothermal Energy Development and Utilization in the World |
| By the end of 1992, there had been 21 countries that used geothermal fluids to generate electricity,and the geothermal resources had commercial utilization value in 70 countries. The total capacities are 6 275 MW and 11 385 MW for electric use and direct use,respectively. |
