High Grade Metamorphic Complexes in Middle Hainan Island: Ages of the Pb-Pb Single Zircons and Their Geological Significance
      The high grade metamorphic complexes in middle Hainan Island are composed of gneisses, migmatites, granulites and charnockites.Having Studied Pb_Pb dating of single zircons from gneisses and granulites,the authors hold that the complexes were transfomed by two Mesoproterozoic and Caledonian tectonic events.Based on geological analysis,it is suggested that the basement in middle Hainan Island has experienced three important evolutional stages, i.e.the formation of Neoarchean supercrust rocks, the Mesoproterozoic metamorphic_magmatic reformation and the transformation by the Caledonian tectonic event.
