摘要:
Superposition Patterns of Condensed Sections and Its Relation to Sea Level Changes in Paleozoic of North Tarim Basin
According to the analysis of sequence stratigraphy, six condensed sections or compo_ site condensed sections, which correspond to source rocks, can be identified in Sinian-Paleozoic of North Tarim Basin. Four types of superposition patterns of condensed sections exist in sequence stratigraphic framework, that is, transgression, regression, aggradation and onlap associations. The different types of stacking patterns reflect different processes of sea level changes, corresponding, the thickness and distribution regularities of condensed sections are evidently different. The composite condensed sections stacked vertically and linked laterally in regression and transgression associations are main source rocks in North Tarim Basin.
