Fluorine Geochemistry in the Unsaturated Soils-Shallow Groundwater Systems——A Case Study on the Xingtai Piedmont Plain, Hebei
      The unsaturated soils and the shallow groundwater constitute a complete hydrogeochemical interaction system in the area of shallow high_fluoride groundwater in the Xingtai piedmont plain.In the system,the two key factors influencing fluorine transport and accumulation between the unsaturated soils and the shallow groundwater are the fluorine source intensity of the unsaturated soils and the accumulated and preserved conditions of fluorine in the shallow groundwater.The fluorine source intensity is determined by the mineralogy、 chemical composition and grain sizes of the unsaturated soils,while the accumulated and preserved conditions of fluorine depend on the chemical composition of the shallow groundwater.The research results of the dynamic experiment of the fluoride transport and accumulation in the unsaturated soils_shallow groundwater system under the condition of precipitation infiltration indicate that the unsaturated soils are the important fluride source of shallow groundwater, and that the fluorine geochemical reactions in the water_soils system of the unsaturated soils mainly involve with aqueous complexation,dissolution/precipitation and adsorption/desorption.Besed on the experiment,these geochemical reaction models can be established through the chemical thermodynamics and Kinetics.
