| Research on Expansive soil and Its Landslide Hazard in the South Shaanxi |
| Expansive soil is widely distrubuted in Hanzhong basin, Xixiang basin and An'kang basin in Hanjiang stainage area.Its area is almost 1300km2,above one second of the total area of the three basins. Because of its swell-shrinking deformation and texture variation, Landslide hazared is widely developed in the area which destructed engineering constructions and farmming land and led to a great economic loss of govement and people. So both theoretically and practivally, reaseach on expansive soil and its landlide hazard has very important significence in the economic construction in this area. This paper gave a advanced discussion of expansive soil in the South Shaanxi in the aspects of its material composition, physical-chemical characteristics, engineering geological properties and the regularities of its landslide development. |
